Question best ver. of linux rd to use with rd secure web server 2.x

hi all, i am setting up a test web server to compare performance & security between red hat secure web server 2.x and ms iis 5.x.

i just noticed that the cd does not include the linux os. the manual refers to red hat 5.x. - but it's printed in '98.

any suggestions, advice & comments would be welcome.

thank you in advance.

I'd say you can either go with the latest version which is 8.0 or the previous which was 7.3.
But it also doesn't necessarily have to be Redhat, almost any distro can do the job for you, especially since its Apache Web Server you'll be comparing and testing in this case.
