Best Open Source Photo enhancement software

Hi. I would like to know what open source photo enhancement software for linux people people recommend. I tried using Flphoto and was a bit dissapointed because the did not appear on the computer as they appeared on the camera.

RPMs for the GIMP should be included somewhere on your distribution discs. Failing that, you can search at RPMfind or rpm.pbone.net.

You'll like it-- the interface may seem a bit odd at first, but pretty soon you'll find yourself right-clicking in other apps and wondering why you don't get GIMP-like finctions. ;)
