Best Linux distro that can go in a Thumb drive?

Hi, could someone recommend a good linux distro that can go on a 4 gig thumb drive? Also once linux is installed in a thumb drive, can it boot when pluged into any computer? or can it only boot from the computer from which it was installed on?

MCNLive is easy to install to a usb thumb drive, it will boot from usb on any machine that supports usb booting. Get it from here: http://www.mcnlive.org/download.htm

FaunOS is a nice one, Arch based.
