Question Best Linux distro for children


I was wondering if there was a good Linux distro for children any answers appreciated did i post this in the wrong place if so where do i put it

Have a look at these educational distros. From that list I would choose either DoudouLinux (#4), Edubuntu (#5), Qimo 4 Kids (#16) or SkoleLinux (#15).

Doudou has the advantage over Qimo in having Dansguardian already setup — it's a tricky job — to control internet access. Sometimes the translations from French are rather poor, though.

actualy i need one that will fit on a cd on run better on older systems and i want to be able to install it not use live cd
