Best Linux Distribution for Mac

I use a MacBook Pro and will be using Parallels to run Linux on it and am wondering which Linux Distribution is best for this use? I hear a lot about SUSE but want to consider all options.

i'm not very familiar with mac, although i'm aware of 2 distros that are specifically created for mac...one is yellow dog, the other is slackintosh which is based on slackware 11, a very stable and workable distro...might wanna look into those maybe? :)

I've been quite happy with gentoo on my powerbook (G3 333mhz 320Mb 40Gb now deceased) and ibook (G4 1.2 Ghz 512Mb 60Gb). It's more complicated to install then other distros but once you set it up it works great. one thing to think about is that most mac distros are (probably) for ppc macs. The mac book pro (My girlfriend has one {IntelCore duo 2.16ghz 1Gb 100Gb}) is an IntelCore duo (i686 compatible according to gcc) and uses intel's EFI instead of a bios(pc-style) or OpenFimware(ppc-mac style). I do know that gentoo works on the mac book pro. I haven't tried to install it yet, but I could try if you go with gentoo and get stuck.
