Beryl configuration?
 

I have beryl installed and the Beryl Setting Manager is in the System tools. I'm in an XGL session and the desktop looks a little different from a normal Gnome login, so i think i have it installed correctly. i think my issue is just configuration?

I can open the manager but that about it. I can hold ctrl and Alt and use the left right arrows to switch desktops but nothing else.

I dont get what <super> is all about. and everything appears to be disabled. Not sure what other info would be useful right now.. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

The SUPER button is the windows button on your keyboard.

If you want to see tha cube, you would first have to set the number of desktops to more than one (and for the full effect have different stuff open on each desktop).

Then, hold down ctrl+alt, click and hold the left mouse button and move the mouse. That should show you the cube (assuming it's enabled in beryl manager).

Super, ok, I suppose you cant call it the windows key can you. lol.

In Beryl Settings Manager>Desktop both 'desktop cube' and 'rotate cube' are both checked, but holding ctrl+alt and moving the mouse doesn't show the cube.

Is there a way I can check what I've done so far is correct?

Is there any further information that I can provide that would help fix this?

"Hold" the mouse, not "move" the mouse
Or try ctrl-alt-left arrow

ctrl+alt lefft arrow brings up a desktop pager which is in the non xgl session too, but no cube.

I'm wondering how to check where I went wrong. So far all I have is a slightly nicer desktop.

when you have more than one program running and you move your mouse pointer to the upper right corner, don't you get all of them zoomed out in kind of a selection screen?
