benchmark utility


hi,

is there any benchmark utility available for linux ? (for redhat 9 and mandrake 10 )
i have intel p4 gvsrl 2.4Ghz, adaptech 2410sa pci with 3*120 GB seagate baracuda sata hdd (raid 5)
any utility available for read and write test of hdd as well as testing the periperals like usb,sound
onboard nic etc ?

You could install either Mysql server or Postgresql server and get the benchmark packages and cook your box to your hearts content.
