belkin card mandriva 06 won't detect
Just installed mandriva06 64 dual boot with xp on my desktop.
Have a belkin wireless 54mps broadcom for wifi but mandriva can't find the hardware so nnsdiswrapper and the windows driver does nothing because the system can't find the card in the first place. Had mandriva06 32 bit on my previous machine with no problems with the card. Windows finds it no prob still. I have a couple ethernet cards but don't use them and mandriva finds them. Is there a way to get around this or is it just unsupported ? |
have you tried taking the card out and putting it back in then dmesg to see if ur computer sees it?
|
Have you run lspci to check that it is definitely not found?

ran lspci - turns out it does find the card and the mandriva hardware detection does find it as well but can't seem to associate with the windows driver.

Have you tried working through the installation instructions at http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/m...p/Installation
