beeping terminal


how to stop the beeping sound in the terminal?
a beep sound is heard at the time of warnings.

man xset.

for the console, man setterm

i dunno offhand and im not at my comp, but those r the 2 commands u need to kno. those beeps r damn annoying.

xset -b b off
would turn the bell off
