i'm trying to install ibm rose on my mandrake 10.1, and i get the error message:
"bc command not found in the path."
i can't find a bc.exe or bc.bin file on my computer
bc is a mathematical tool.
is it not installed by default?

http://www.gnu.org/software/bc/

bc is a language--I would NOT expect it to be installed by default. Curiously, in the link above, I don't see where to get it.

Have you looked in the Mandriva repositories?

And what is "ibm rose"
