bandwith usage in sendmail


We are using RHEL4 AS U5 and Sendmail version sendmail-8.13.8.

How to find out total mail transfer size (month basis) through Sendmail service. Is it possible in linux.

Please guide me

You could use any of the better known traffic accounting systems,
or write your own. I don't know whether sendmail logs the sizes
of mail passing through it, but you could always use tcpdump to
monitor port 25 ...
