BackTrack5r3 dual-boot problem
 

Hi evrybodey

I've been just download BT5R3.
When I started installation on part when BT5R3 need to detect partitions and i need to select option "Insall next to windows XP" he just detect:

Erase and use Entire disk and Special partitions(Manually)

THERE IS NO OPTION FOR DUAL BOOT INSTALL !!

PLS HELP ME !

The install next to windows option will do a dual boot. That is the option you want. It will replace the NTLoader with GRUB from Linux which will allow you to choose which OS to boot into. You may have to reboot once for Windows to show back up again as sometimes GRUB doesn't update the partitions the first time.

If it doesn't show the install next to Windows then maybe you've selected the wrong disk. Have you installed any other Linux versions on this machine? You may have to manually partition the hard disk, Grub should find the Windows install and allow you to boot from it.

i haven't oldest version of linux installed on my comp,but when i select Special partitions(Manually) he says that installation will delete cuurent partitions !

PLS help !
