Backtrack5 worldist (crunch)
I am unable to create a wordlist in Backtrack by using the following command ./crunch 6 12 -f charset.lst mixalpha -o wordlist.txt gives error chunk1: fprintf failed = 28 The problem is = No space left on device PLEASE anyone can tell me how to FIX it through step by step! PLEASE HELP

Solution:
- Download Kali Linux and use its installer to install it to the harddisk. Backtrack is not supported anymore and you will run into all kinds of problems with it. Once you have installed it to the disk the wordlist you want to generate will be writen to disk, not to RAM (which it does when you run it as Live system), so the size of the wordlist is only limited by the size of the partition. |
