Backtrack 5r3 fatal error
 

All right ,hello everyone i wanted to share an issue of my Backtrack 5 R3.I have installed and been able to see its Desktop with the valuable helps of Alex47.I had realized that my laptop had 2 gpu's ;one nvidia and the other intel hd graphics(i5)(PCI ) I was able to use Backtrack 5 r3 a day ago (i don'T know which gpu it used but running rather fluent)Then i read an article about Pyrit (cracking wpa2 passwords 100 times faster with the gpu core power)Anyway I disabled the kernel rebooted BT5 (got out from graphical user interface of bt5) and installed nvidia driver and cuda toolkit to try Pyrit.But I knew I would have an issue at the beginning.Now when i try to login X (GUI ) i mean type startx i have this ; (So many thanks who helps :)

You probably have an nVidia Optimus setup here. You may be able to select the primary graphics controller in the BIOS. Seconldy Guide for installing backtrack3 with Optimus Technology might get you started.

Hope this helps you out and I would be interested to see if you get it working (I too have Optimus technology, but I disabled the Intel HD Graphics).
