Question BackTrack 2 WLAN Problems (RT61)

I'm experiencing problems with my Belkin F5D7000 v6000 (also called 7000UK). I'm using ndiswrapper now. But since i want to use packet injection, i have to use another driver. My card uses the Ralink RT61 chipset. BackTrack 2 Doesn't automatically detect my card.

PS: I'm a n00b to linux

Thanks in advance

did you try opening a shell and loading the module for the card ? I had to do that recently with backtrack 2 for an integrated Intel Gigabit Ethernet NIC, so having to do it for a wireless card wouldn't surprise me at all

modprobe rt61

I'm a total noob to linux, so could you explain how to do that?

Edit: Whoops! I didn't notice you also included the required command. I'll try

F5D7000 v6000 and Linux

How do I get them to work? I am new also to Linux and working with Ubuntu. The problem I am having is I have this Belkin wireless. It has been over twenty years since I last did any kind of programing so all the help I can get is greatly appreciated.
