Okay all I know it hasn't been an hour! I think I see a pattern
developing here! Okay I need this libXxf86.vm.so.1 Have gone
thru the linux software manager with all the updates, securities,
I think without some idea of what I am looking for, I may never find this
Help!

well i'm pretty sure the file you actually quoted doesn't exist. there might be a libXxf86vm.so tho.. well there's one but it's in a standard slorceforge package... what do you need this for? make sure you've got the Xfree86-devel packaegs installed too. i nkow that there's at least a libXxf86vm.a in there.
