AvrStudio4 and Avr win not working on ubuntu 10.10

I want to work on robotics and added this softwares but its executable file is not working even on wine.This is with every executable file that is not downloaded through internet but added by usb .

Atmel has not ported AVR studio yet... (as far as i know)
I tried wine too, but it did not work.

Some people use code::blocks as an IDE for avr development.

There are other tools you can use. Check out for more info.
