Please help me convert a avi file to a vcd file.

Did you try to search the forums? First link on google and in this forum points to this same thread:

I think tovid (the application in question), was created by one of the members of this forum and judging by the homepage and screenshots, the project has come a long way

DeVeDe( is also good, and it lets you name titles and stuff. It also works with DVDs, Super VCDs, and more.
