Sunday morning...and I'm observing again... :)
Okay, so, if yo run Top, what is your load average? Mine comes beyone 1.5 easily, then there's the update-mdb and the apt-check...both of which I'll have to re-Cron to run once a week...now he's checking once every some hours...

I think I have to ditch the ol' box and go for the 64-bitter I've got waiting in the shadows... :)
Got FF, Bluefish and Filezilla open with music from di.fm...average now is 0.46...but as soon as something grapgical needs doing...
