Avant browser configure error " XML::Parser"

i got this error while ./configure avant browser:

checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl
checking for XML::Parser... configure: error: XML::Parser perl module is required for intltool
[root@localhost avant-window-navigator-0.2.1]# exit
exit
[cff32rd32@localhost avant-window-navigator-0.2.1]$ cd ..
[cff32rd32@localhost ~]$

So i downloaded XML::Parser package. The installation was successful.

[root@localhost XML-Parser-2.36]# make install
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/cff32rd32/XML-Parser-2.36/Expat'
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/cff32rd32/XML-Parser-2.36/Expat'

[root@localhost XML-Parser-2.36]# cd ..
[root@localhost cff32rd32]#

But when i go back to ./configure Avant, I still have this error.

checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl
checking for XML::Parser... configure: error: XML::Parser perl module is required for intltool

zzzz..What went wrong??

Gyah. Don't scare me like that!

I thought for a moment that you were talking about the Avant browser, which is a shell gui for Internet Exploiter. Just thinking about that on Linux makes me sweat.

Fortunately, you really meant the Avant Window Navigator. I don't know the answer to your problem offhand, but I see that there's an official AWN forum. You might want to check there.

Hmmm besides that Avant window navigator, while I ./configure a compiz-fusion i also got this error.

checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl
checking for XML::Parser... configure: error: XML::Parser perl module is required for intltool
[root@localhost avant-window-navigator-0.2.1]# exit

Anyone face this before??
