AV for Linux?

I actually have a couple of questions:

Does anyone know of an easy to configure virus scanner for Linux? I've already worked with F-Prot and I wasn't happy with the results.

I'm also looking for program that would allow me to rip the audio from my cd's and save it on my hard drive, in kde.

I've Googled the av scanner, and came up with probably about 10,000 listings that all claimed that their product was the best and the easiest to configure, so I figured I'd post a query on LQ.

I haven't searched for the cd ripper but I figured I'd ask since I was here =).

I use CLAMAV, but I can't say how good it is since I have nothing to compare it with.

As for copying CDs... make sure you have the copyrights to it first Then you can use any number of applications, depending on whether your particular flavour is GUI or CLI. For the GUI I can recommend GRIP for ripping and encoding. As for CLI, CDDA2WAV works wonders.
