Autostarting an app
I have created a link to an application on my desktop, but i want to somehow program these links to autorun. How do I go about doing this?

Ahhh......
From a previous post by rmartine:

To make things work in ~/.kde/Autostart first right click on the desktop and select Create New -> Link To New Application. Make that link run your script. Make sure you test it. Then move the icon file from ~/Desktop to ~/.kde/Autostart.
That is how I autoload my Superkaramba and various startup things in Kde.

By the looks of it and what I've tried that only works when you long in as root. Right? How do you configure it to where it will autostart it on any account.
