autorun a program in tty3

how can i autorun a program in tty3 everytime i log on as root?

I am not sure that is feasile. For one thing how are you going to run a progran in a terminal that is potentially not logged in. And why when you log in as root?

Instead I would suggest instead running the program in a detached screen. ("man screen" for command line options)

Is it bashrc or something....i'm not quite sure on this, but another thread was posted and the guy said 'i know how to autorun a program in console, but how do i do this in x' and i think he stated something about bashrc for console...
