Automounting??

Hi everyone!

When I login to Redhat 8, I go into console and type mount /dev/hda2 /mnt/hda2

this mounts my fat32 partition, however I have to do this everytime I boot up my computer!

Is there away I can add this to the boot sequence so it automounts that partition everytime I boot up??

thanks

-R

I guess you could put in in rc.local if you were lazy. I'm sure there is a better place to put that line though.

Ahh.. found it. I think it should look something like this depending on where your windows partition is.

add this to /etc/fstab

/dev/hda2 /mnt/windowsc vfat rw,nouser,auto,uid=500,gid=500 0 0
