automount floppy, suse 9.0

Does anyone know a nice easy way to get floppies to automount on suse 9.0 so complete newbies can get by? I am building a box for a friend who is not pc savvy and is used to MS, I don't want to have to teach them mount /dev/fd0 etc as frankly they will run a mile and it would be nice to be able to have a box that needs absolutely no intro to Linux.

Cheers,

Mr Toad

I guess you have KDE or GNOME or something similar?
Normally you have the drives on your desktop. There you should be able to click, and it will automount.

test the panel applet called "devices" - see if this will serve your purposes

vi /etc/fstab
find a line similar to this:
/dev/fd0 /floppy auto user,noauto 0 0

change "noauto" to "auto" ;)
