Automatically mount file shares?

Is there any way to automatically mount network shares at boot? I am using RH 7.2. I can mount these resources using smbmount but is there a way to do it automatically.

And along similar lines, is there a Linux equivalent to Windows refresh? For example I mount a floppy (mount /dev/fdo) and change the disk is there a way to access new files without umount and mount?

Yes - just add an entry to /etc/fstab

No you need to mount and unmount.
