Automatic log in and starting programs at boot

Hi. I'm running Slackware 10.

I'm trying to make a game-dedicated computer, and I want to boot automatically into the GUI, and into the game. For that, first, I need Linux to login automatically into my default user (I mean, without prompting the username and password). How can I do that?

Next, I need Linux to start automatically the game I want to start. Where can I configure this?

I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

what login-manager and de/wm are you using?

Cheers,

i'm using KDE (i think it's 3.2)...and, sorry but i don't know what's de/wm.

DE/WM = DesktopEnvironment/WindowManager

KDE is your desktop environment, and you're most
likely using kdm as your login-manager (or how do
you start KDE)?

If you're using kdm it's quite simple, you can find that
in the system-section in control panel.

Cheers,
Tink
