Auto connect to ethernet / WiFi?

Hi :-)
I would like to disconnect and reconnect to Ethernet or WiFi whenever a connection comes available. I'm on Arch Linux and I have done the following:
#pacman -S ifplugd dialog wpa_actiond
$ip addr *made note of device names*
#systemctl enable netctl-ifplugd@*"e" device name*.service
#systemctl enable netctl-auto@*"w" device name*.service
To make sure, I start them all and reboot but I still am required to start manually..

How can I solve this little puzzle?
Many thanks for reading and replying :-)

You need to set up your profiles.

As with most things Arch, the trick is to read the fine manual...
