Question audo software installation problems

I have downloaded tons of software programs off of several sites. The problem is that almost everyone of them state that some type of dependancy is not met. I have installed a lot of the dependancies. One program is Ardour. which after configue states sndfile>=1.0.0 is not men try and adjust your configure path. Another program iis audacity which after configure sts I need some wx program to install it. I have tried to install wx and it has some error statin that I need qt which I know is the right version already installed on my machine. I know that theese programs have dependancies which can be taken care of with yum or apt but this requires that one be on the internet. My system is not connected at this time. I really hate windows based systems but I really like the feel to linux (fc1) and the like. I tried Fernando Pablo at ccrma but he never returnes my e_mails. If you have any resoulitions to theese problems pleeeeeeese. tell me.
thanks ahead of time.

Hi.It is gonna be really hard to meet all of these dependencies without an internet connection. One thing I would say is that if you want to use ardour and audacity, why not use a distro that includes them (and their dependencies).Dynebolic has these programs by default and I think that Studio64 will have them too.Maybe you can get someone to download them for you?I feel your pain as I used to be in the same situation years back when I had to buy Linux Format magazine for the cover discs.Lots of luck man.
