I installed Linux Mint 7. Everthing works except the audio on Tvtime or Gnome Radio. On Mplayer the sound works but volume is too low. Any help will be appreciated,TIA.

Have you found the sound mixer to set audio levels?
If not, from a terminal try: alsamixer

try opening a terminal and login as root

$ sudo -s
Follow prompts

# alsaconf
# exit
Then use the alsamixer
$ alsamixer
And unmute or adjust volume levels front,pcm,master etc ... press esc to exit
