audio cds readable

Hi! How can I make my audio cds readable in debian as a normal user? If I access as a root I can read cds without a problem. I have tried to edit /etc/group but that help only in getting audio files work.

I am not sure that this is the "debian way" but make sure your users have read access to /dev/cdrom or which ever dev node belongs to your cd drive.

Adding your users to the 'audio' group might do it.
