audio cd mounting troubles

I have been trying a bunch of different ways to mount this audio cd on my redhat 9 box. I can't seem to get it to mount so that I can listen to it. I have tried the gui mounting tools in kde, and "mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom1 /mnt/cdrom1 " and almost any other variation of the mount command I know and still get the same error message. The message is wrong fs type, or bad block. I know the cd is not bad, and I don't know whats going on with it. I have also done the mount commands and root as well as regular users. Thanks for help, I know its probably something easy but at least I will know the right way to do this! Thanks again

A search would reveal much more, but here's the skinny:
You can't mount audiocd's in Linux. You only use a CD playing utility (such as grip) to play the CD. There are tools/options out there for those who really want to mount them, but like I said, there's several threads addressing this already. The search button is in the upper right corner of your screen.

Cool

Thanks for the help and I guess I should have searched the forums. I have a bunch of linux books and I was just assuming I was typing the command wrong because there were a lot of examples in the books. Thanks again!
