audio CD
 
how do i mount an audio CD to get the songs off.
I want to burn an audio CD with just a couple songs off another audio CD.
I cant just mount is as "mount /mnt/cdrom" it says "wrong FS"

audio cd's can't be mounted AFAIK
u can just open a ripper program like Grip (or whatever u like the most) and it will find the tracks, and then u can rip them

or... <shameless kde plug> if u use KDE3 u could insert the cd, type audiocd:/ in the location bar and u'll be pleasantly surprised :) u can just copy the wav files from it that way or even have it rip it to mp3 or ogg if u want </shameless kde plug>

You don't mount it at all, you have to access the disc directly.

e.g.
