Audigy2 Default or Master Sound

I'm running suse 9.0 with kde and I have a Creative's Audigy 2 sound card. YAST automatically installed the sound card and it works great. However, I have one small issue, I can only adjust volume using the wave surround volume contol. Therefore, the master or default sound won't adjust the volume. So, when I run xine, xmms, and even the default kde volume control, I can't adjust the volume. I need to go into a special alsa volume control program that has wave surround. Its a hassle. Does anyone know how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated.
