attaching applicatio to OS


hello everyone.I've created a application that uses laptop camera as the interface and uses the gestures made by finger movements in air to perform clicking an right clicking operations.i just need to know how to attach this application to the OS kernal so that i can perform various operations like closing window,opening applications etc.any help is highly appreciated.
