ATP-80 serial thermal printer driver
hello.
I have a serial port thermal printer (ATP-80) with me. But i don't have a driver fro that. It's printing lines and contents in a vi editor. But it doen't print an image or a .doc file.
I have tried by initialsing CUPS, but then nothing is getting printed when i gave the test print option. I also configured it using "printtool" option but still no hope.
Please find me a way to make the printer print images.
the command tp print lines and vi editor contents are
echo "Linux is great" > /dev/ttyS0 for lines and
lpr filename > /dev/ttyS0 where filename is opened and written using vi editor
please sent me a solution if any one knows
