aticonfig: error after install ati driver

Hi guys.

I have met such kind of problem.

I just install ubuntu desktop, and then install my graphic card driver by amd-driver-installer-catalyst-13.1-linux-x86.x86_64.run. And the install result is completely sucessful, After that, I enter "aticonfig"

An error appear.

aticonfig: error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I try find the link so for aticonfig by "ldd aticonfig"

the result is that can not find this libGL.so.1

can sb met this issue before?

Well clearly the install was not completely sucessful. Personally, I would run the uninstaller (located in either /usr/share/ati/ or /usr/share/amd/ ) and then use the version of the driver Ubuntu nicely packages for you so that users won't run into these types of problems :-)
