ati9700pro Driver install on redhat9

Does anyone know where to find a VERY detailed installation tutortial for this? I read the install readme on ati's site, but it didn't list the commands to do some of the stuff and I've only been running redhat for 3 days; I know hardly any commands at all.

It seems the default drivers redhat isntalls don't work properly. Windows lag a lot when I move the back and forth real fast. And the Mouse drag alpha effect lags a whole lots when it gets too big. I'm assuming this lag is caused by crappy drivers, am I right?
