ATI Drivers

I followed this tutorial all the way through a couple of times http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...icle&artid=212

when i get to the final step where you type startx in command line i get this error:
Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0
If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock
and start again.

any ideas how to fix this? if you need more info ill provide it.

Have you tried "rm /tmp/.X0-lock"?
