Ati Aiw 9700

i have an ati all in wonder 9700 and cant find drivers for linux compatability and i also dont think i will be able to get all the features out of the card with linux suse 9.1...(tv media, video editing, blah blah)

any help or questions with this to further help me? all i want to know is where i can find out how to use all the features of my card, and how to install it... i loved having windows and being able to use my computer as a tv... but now i cant

If you find some drivers to get full function out of an All in wonder card please let me know too. This is the ONLY reason I have not switched to Linux! I love having TV on my computer too! it is great to leave running in the background and when you hear a keyword, you can switch the view and see what they are talking about....

yeah it kinda sucks... there are no full feature AIW linux drivers....

i called up an ATI rep and he told me that its best to stick to windows now anwyay scince they heightened their security features for SP2

and if your desperate for speed... go athlon 64 and youll see that windows works better with it than linux does....

linux is going downhill due to compatibility issues..

sorry to all the nerds out there who know what their doing.. not every computer owner knows how or feels like installing programs with linux... its just a bitch....

stick to windows dude... i learned that a while ago
