at scheduler not sending a mail


After assigning a job through AT , am not getting a mail in /var/spool/mail/root.
Is the issue with AT service or mail service. plz help

[root@hp ~]# at 12:32PM
at> ls
at> <EOT>
job 21 at 2015-12-30 12:32

[root@hp ~]# atq
21 2015-12-30 12:32 a root

[root@hp ~]# atq
[root@hp ~]# ls -ltr /var/spool/mail/root
-rw------- 1 root root 0 Dec 30 12:29 /var/spool/mail/root

I don't think there are any logs by default that at creates, except when errors are reported.
