assistance and help


i need help getting some information off of a floppy disk i would like to know can a disk be fix. or maybe the information is on the hard drive and someone can help me retrieve it from that . i am taking all help and advise. i live in birmingham alabama thanks very much.

So how did you solve it?

PS:
If you haven't solved it, I think your best bet might be to take the floppy to somebody who's "computer savvy", and ask them. A friend, a relative - or somebody at Best Buy or the local library. I definitely feel you'll be best served by talking to somebody directly, face-to-face.
