Assembly Linker

i want to link my assembly programs with ld command, as i do in my classes but in my computer i get the message "command not found"....

Mine is /usr/bin/ld

It is part of the 'binutils' package. If you don't have ld you likely don't have a toolchain at all. Your distro would help here...
