Asking for an Utility to switch SATA AHCI to ATA or IDE ( BIOS hides SATA option)

Hello everyone,
The BIOS of my Notebook hides advanced settings ( including SATA mode) to be shown, and I have to switch AHCI mode to ATA or IDE mode, I've tried to install mods for the version of the BIOS, but as it seems, it's a few too risky. So I'm searching for a solution ( it can be a command, a tool, an other way to view hidden settings in the BIOS...). Please help, I have to solve this problem as soon as possible.
Informations :
BIOS : InsydeH20 F.32
Laptop model : HP 630
Storage Controller : intel 5 series/3400 series Chipset 4 port SATA AHCI
OS : SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 ( maybe 11, more than 10 for sure)
NOTE : The Laptop came with this Distro of Linux, I've never installed another OS.

I am going out on a limb here and will say that there are no hidden settings that can be changed easily. It may be possible to load an OpenBios firmware or alternate that may have it. The OEM may have some updated bios but they generally don't add in any such feature.

I will look for that OpenBios, but is there any tool like in Gigabyte Disk Mode Switch ( Windows), in Linux ?
