Asked but no one helped? Please help with network connection in xubuntu
 

I have a dual boot,my windows network connection is up and running,however i can not get my xubuntu connection going? I recently changed service providers and have no idea how to configure my network settings for Xubuntu??
I have a high speed dial up connection..Do i have to call my service provider for this? My Windows xp connection was a simple procedure i imagined xubuntu would be as easy,however it looks like i need to do something else?
Please help,been a week now with out my Linux!!!!
