ark.. unrar? and .exe


I was trying to unzip a .rar file and ark opened up and said that the unrar part wasnt there. Is there a way to install somthing that so ark can unrar the files or is there a way I could in tall unrar to do so? Also is there a way to open up .exe files using linux? Or some sort of way to comile it so I can run it or somthing?

There's an application called unrar for exactly that purpose.
