Are there any video and MTRR issues using Elive 1.9.31 on an Acer Aspire One

There seems to be an issue with the Acer Aspire One and choppy video playback with the intel video chipset. From what I can find on the net this seems to be caused mainly by the way the bios reports to linux and how linux sets up the memory (MTRR) region. Not sure how many distros this is an issue on but I have this issue using Ubuntu 9.04. There is a fix for this but it would be nice if this just worked out of the box.....

And now to Elive 1.9.31.... this is an unstable development release but seems to be getting great reviews for the Acer Aspire One and claims to support the Acer Aspire One right out of the box... This is great news for AAO users.... One thing i haven’t seen about this yet though is if they worked out the choppy flash video issue that seems to be due to the MTRR issue. If anyone has tested this out can you please leave a comment about its performance with "flash" videos and overall performance. This would be greatly appreciated.

My acer is already set up nice but I'm just disappointed with the video issue which only seems to affect online video streams (mostly flash) and some Open GL 3D. **Currently using Ubuntu 9.04 and works great for the most part**
