Those pages (that work) look like cases of bad coding more than anything else. It has nothing to do with IE or Linux. I don't see anything on those pages requiring IE, unless it's embedded in a javascript somewhere. There is no vbscript or anything like that.

The drivers license link has this in the code, wth?

OK! i agree. not all websites. but most websites are like this. forget linux, some even dont open.

Those sites appear to simply be down. They don't work in IE either.
