Are there any file sharing programs for Linux?
Just like the title says, are there any programs like Kazaa, WinMX and the like?

I knew it was probably asked before, and I did search for File Sharing Programs ( in the newbie forum only) and it came back negative. Sorry m8 I should have looked more but there are so many thinks I need (want) to know.
I'll search harder next time and thankyou for the link, lots of good info there. |
try Limewire
Hard to install (because of this crappy java thing) but run nice. |
I've herd of "Samba".

samba is a networking client server thing that enables os2, windows and others to network with unix/linux boxes

do NOT use Qtella, it sucks balls. i tried to download the song "boogie fever" and it would never be able to download it, i got so fed up that i went onto my Windows puter, downloaded it on Kazaa then FTPed it over i heard that there is some Kazaa thing for Linux now but i'm not sure if it has a ton of spyware like Windows Kazaa does. |
