Hello i don't thing i need ssh daemon running to my sys. because the only thing I do in internet is surfing,e-mail,and download. Are the certificates from several domain that say "you are about connect through secure connection" use ssh .Is ssh sending crypted my data to internet or does it help ?
SSH is an example of a secure connection (a secure replacement for telnet/rlogin). It uses some of the same mechanisms for encryption that secure Web connections do, but it does not provide secure Web connections (unless you use tunneling, which you don't). If you don't login remotely to your machine then you can safely disable SSH, which wouldn't be a bad idea from a security standpoint.
